AmeriCamp is an award-winning organisation that has been sending people to work at Summer Camps in the USA since 2010! We were founded on our shared dream to help people have the Summer of a lifetime at Camp and the goal to provide each of our applicants with the best possible salary and customer experience! These days we are doing just that, for hundreds of adventurous people just like you who have a passion for travel and making an impact!
AmeriCamp promises the ultimate summer camp experience, offering you the chance to embark on a transformative and immersive adventure in the United States. On our program, you’ll have the opportunity to work at one of the hundreds of incredible camps all the way across the USA for 8-10 weeks in a role that suits your interests and strengths—either as a camp counsellor, serving as an older sibling and role model to the kids, or as an activity leader, coaching your favourite sports and activities. We work with many underprivileged and special needs camps in addition to our traditional camps that always need helping hands! Regardless of your career path, AmeriCamp shows employers you are passionate, outgoing and resilient!
Beyond an enriching cultural exchange, AmeriCamp ensures that your efforts are rewarded, providing a minimum salary of $2000 for the summer, recognised as the highest in the industry. This not only allows you to finance your experience but also reflects the value placed on your contributions to the camp community.
The program goes beyond a mere job, offering valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth. As a camp counsellor or activity leader, you’ll develop coaching techniques and experience, as well as essential skills such as leadership, teamwork, and independence—attributes that not only contribute to a successful summer but also enhance your CV for future endeavours.
AmeriCamp doesn’t just stop at the camp experience; we also recognise the importance of exploration! After you have finished your placement, you’ll have a 30-day travel period allowed under your visa, giving you the freedom to discover and appreciate the diverse landscapes and cultures the U.S. has to offer.

Process
The program fees are £399 if you prefer to pay in full upfront or £419 if you opt for a convenient payment plan, allowing you to spread the costs across the application process.
For those choosing the payment plan, it breaks down as follows:
Deposit (£49): Kickstart your AmeriCamp journey with an initial deposit to secure your spot in the program.
Stage 2 Payment (£242): As you progress through the application process and get ready to embark on your summer adventure, the second payment ensures that you’re all set to go live to camps.
Stage 3 Payment (£128): The final stage of the payment plan is due once your camp placement is confirmed, ensuring a seamless transition into the next phase of your AmeriCamp experience.

Remember that all accommodation and food is included whilst you are at Camp so you won’t have any outgoings, which means more for your travel afterwards!!
