With a degree in Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences, you’ll grasp the fundamentals of exercise science and gain the necessary knowledge needed before exploring your specialism as you progress to third year. Taking this multi-functional approach, you’ll become competent and confident in a variety of skills, including research-methods, client interaction, and understanding the varied factors when it comes to your discipline.
What’s more, you’ll be based in our state-of-the-art Verena Homes Building where we are home to industry-spec, state-of-the-art facilities. These include:
- Strength and conditioning lab
- Biomechanics lab
- Multi-purpose exercise studio
- Altitude Centre
- Physiology labs
- Sport Therapy Clinic.
You’ll also work alongside our consultancy unit, SportsLab, which provides scientific services for athletes in and out of the University. Here, not only will you learn the expert knowledge needed in the industry, but you’ll work with real clients, giving you opportunities for work experience and possible paid employment.
