As Head of Delivery, you will be responsible for the delivery programme of Sport and Active Health at the University, alongside the Sport Business Operations team, jointly working toward the strategic goals and direction of the department in line with the University’s overall vision.

To be successful in this role you will be experienced in delivering sport programmes ideally in a Higher Education environment. With experience in managing a team of dynamic and multi-skilled colleagues. Someone with a passion for sport and physical activity at all levels who recognises the social, mental and physical benefits of physical activity and sport, who understands fitness, exercise, and sport provision and knows what it takes to support people on their individual journeys, from first timers through to elite sports people.

How will you work?

We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible and this role, although predominantly based on site in Canterbury has capacity for a flexible approach which will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders.

You will work on and off campus; but in most cases the work location will be determined by the service required or the tasks/activities being undertaken.
