Policy and Partnerships Manager (Maternity Cover)

At Coach Core, we believe that every young person deserves the chance to unlock their potential, no matter the barriers they face. For over a decade, our dedicated team has
worked to improve the life chances of marginalised young people across the UK using sport and apprenticeships. Since 2012, we’ve supported over 1,000 apprentices from diverse backgrounds, helping them gain the skills, confidence, and knowledge to thrive in education, employment, and beyond.

This role will lead and manage key external partnerships, deliver relevant projects and drive forward our ambitions in/around the policy space. This role is integral to our three year ambitions to:

Enable greater accessibility – ensuring our programmes are easily accessible to all young people, especially those most at risk of marginalisation

Enhance our offer – ensure we are providing the best possible education, support and progression routes

Advocate and Influence – further amplify the voice of our apprentices and employers, using their experiences to influence apprenticeship provision

Remain insight led – prioritise a culture of continuous learning, integrating insights into all aspects of decision making

The individual will work closely with internal colleagues, particularly across the Programmes and Research and Impact Teams, as well as with our apprentices/graduates and external stakeholders/policymakers
