IRONMAN Limited are the organisers of IRONMAN events in the United Kingdom & Ireland which currently stages IRONMAN 70.3 Staffordshire, IRONMAN 70.3 Edinburgh, IRONMAN UK, IRONMAN 70.3 Ireland, IRONMAN Wales and IRONMAN 70.3 Weymouth.
The internship programme is ideal for undergraduate or graduate students who have both an interest and the drive to be part of the number one user based sports brand in the World and gain invaluable experience in sports event management. We look for driven, hard-working and dedicated individuals to be a part of our Oxford based team and help deliver our events to the highest standard possible.
There are wide-range of opportunities available within IRONMAN for successful applicants. Dependent upon experience and suitability, interns can work within the Athlete Services department or as part of the Operations & Logisitics team. Whichever role, interns are handed responsibility from day one and the wealth of experience acquired through the internship will be of enormous benefit to any post/under-graduate.
The value of the internship programme at IRONMAN is evidence by the fact that a significant proportion of current full-time employees originally joined the company as interns themselves and have progressed, for example, to become Race Directors and Course Directors.
