TASIS England is an international school based in Surrey. We are looking for a person to coach within our girls’ volleyball program. The role will involve coaching in weekly practice sessions and on game days. Practice typically takes place on Mondays (5pm-6.30pm) and Fridays (3.30pm-5pm) with games against other schools generally taking place on Wednesday late afternoon/early evenings. The successful candidate will primarily work with the U18 girls squad but may also be required to help coach our U16 and U17 girls teams when required.
Our regular volleyball season starts in September and ends with a volleyball tournament that take place on a Saturday in early November. Coaching at practice sessions is offered at an hourly rate, whilst games and the end of season tournament are paid at a fixed rate that looks to differentiate between home and away venues, distance from campus, and/or start/finish times.
- Preferred – Volleyball England Qualified Level 2 or above. However, we would also consider a person who is qualified at Level 1 but has significant experience of coaching within a school sports environment.
- First Aid qualification.
- Driving licence and car are essential as the campus is not within easy reach of public transport.
- Flexibility to work within a range of age groups and support colleagues if and when required.
- The successful candidate will be expected to undergo relevant DBS and school security checks before starting the role.
