Following the governments release of funding to outsource physical education support to teachers via use of highly qualified NGB coaches, Progressive Sports is delighted to confirm that we are currently hiring dedicated, experienced, enthusiastic and hardworking coaches to join our award winning highly recognised team.

We are offering a chance for the right people to flourish in our growing business as a leading provider in the sports education market, delivering services to schools and communities. There will be a need for you to work alongside primary school teachers to provide support and advice on the delivery of high quality physical education across the whole curriculum.

Progressive Sports is branching out into more and more schools as the South East Number One highly quality sports provisions provide. We recruit and nurture the most talented coaches across the region to make a valuable contribution to improving the quality and range of school sports and dance available in schools currently. It is our firm belief that high quality physical education should be a universal entitlement of all pupils.

Essential requirements for this job include:

  • Level 2 NGB qualification/ or multiple Level 1 qualifications and a proven track record of success?
  • Experience working within a primary school environment
  • Clean and up to date DBS
  • Driving license and own transport and willingness to travel
  • An understanding of the physical education curriculum and the different strands
  • Residence with the immediate and surrounding areas
  • A willingness to succeed in a growing business
  • NGB – National governing body

Progressive Sports require that all staff possess an Enhanced DBS check and will provide an internal training programme to be completed before any coaching delivery begins on behalf of the company.

There will be further opportunities for you to develop within our company where further qualifications can be obtained through funded or part funded provision. All staff will be actively encouraged with their continued professional development (CPD). All our coaches are regularly assessed to Ofsted standards which have enabled us to bridge the gap between teaching and coaching enabling us to provide the highest quality of coaching within our schools.
