Knight, Kavanagh & Page, specialists in sport, physical activity, leisure, culture, green spaces and research, has a vacancy for a research consultant to assist in the delivery of a wide-ranging portfolio of work including, primarily, indoor/outdoor sports facilities and playing pitch strategies.
The successful candidate will be part of our expert team delivering a wide range of assignments and will gain unrivalled experience in the field of sport and leisure consultancy
The role is wide-ranging; from interviewing volunteers in sports clubs, local residents and community groups about the quality and value of sport and leisure facilities, playing pitches and other facilities to undertaking site visits, recording/analysing data and preparing reports.
The successful candidate will be conscientious, well-organised and a good communicator. You must have a good level of IT literacy, be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative and have the ability/potential to produce high quality written reports.
A full driving licence is essential as the job involves travel throughout the UK. The role will be based at KKP’s offices in Manchester but you must be flexible and willing to work on projects that involve both working from home and being away from home overnight in various parts of the country on a fairly regular basis. You will need to own, or have regular access to, a car.
Starting salary (based on qualifications, experience and aptitude) is in a range from £18-19K. In addition, you will receive monthly car and telephone allowance.
