An ability to work under pressure with conflicting priorities is essential for the role. The post holder will deliver a portfolio of programmes mainly initiated via Sport England. The post holder will be
expected to manage these programmes in line with expectation and aspirations embedded within submitted delivery plans and internal operational plans.
Active Herefordshire & Worcestershire is the strategic lead for physical activity and sport across the two counties. Our purpose is to ‘create a more active and healthier Herefordshire & Worcestershire by enabling a thriving, sustainable environment of physical activity and sport’.
Funded by Sport England we are part of a national network of Active Partnerships and we are currently in a position to recruit for a Project Officer (Children & Young People) on a fixed term contract until 31st August 2021 (Maternity Cover).
