Job Title: Performance Psychologist
Reports to: Head of Performance Support & Science (HPSS)
Salary: Depending on experience
Location: Home-based with regular attendance at camps (Lilleshall National Sports Centre) and competitions (domestic & international) as necessary to fulfil the role
Hours: Minimum of 48 days to a maximum of 75 days per yea
Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby Limited (GBWR) is the National Governing Body (NGB) for the game of wheelchair rugby in England, Scotland, and Wales. Its mission is to build wheelchair rugby communities where athletes, officials and volunteers all enjoy being part of a team. It is a values-based organisation which aims to be inclusive, accessible, and supportive of all who wish to be part of the sport
The successful candidate will lead on the planning and delivery of psychology support services to develop the performance and wellbeing of individual athletes and the team to ensure that GBWR is best prepared for competitions throughout the Paris 2024 cycle. The role provides a unique opportunity to develop your professional practice, skills, and experience within an elite disability sport environment over a shortened Paralympic cycle.
