Performance Analyst Intern

Coventry Rugby is looking for a committed organised and enthusiastic individual to join the analysis team as a Performance Analyst Intern for the upcoming 2022/23 season.

This is a great opportunity for an individual with a passion for sport to gain experience working within a professional sporting environment and further their career within performance analysis.

This role would be suited for current undergraduate students studying a sport or equivalent degree

Main Duties of the internship will consist of:

Film and capture games, training and other content including individual training and skills using Drone and Cameras. 

Assist with training and match day analysis

Support in the preparation of opposition analysis reports for coaches 

Assist in support of the analysis team in contributing with statistical databases

Essential Requirements 

Proficient IT skills 

Have a passion for sport – rugby preferably however not essential. 

Ability to work flexible hours 

Strong Interpersonal and communication skills 

Strong work ethic with the ability to adapt to a fast- paced environment.

Improve rugby knowledge and show how a professional rugby club analyses week to week
