Sports Coach and Holiday Events Coordinator (Surrey Based)

£12.00 – £20.00 Per Hour + Bonus (Dep on skills and experience)
Part Time Hours – (starting at 16 -20 hours per week)

Ultimate Coaching Ltd is looking for a dedicated and responsible Coach to help deliver and manage Community initiatives. The position will report to the Leadership team and will have an opportunity to develop & drive school holiday events.

The company has an ongoing vision to develop more enrichment opportunities for children whilst developing stronger links in the community through school / club links. We recognise the positive role sport can play with children aged 5 – 11, and we strive to implement new exciting opportunities to help reinforce the many benefits sport provides young children.

The position will attract a salary of £12.00 to £20.00 per hour depending on skills and experience. Flexibility with working hours is required: at least 16 hours per week delivering coaching activities and supporting our development team. The role is perfect for an ambitious Coach wishing to develop new skills and improve earning potential. This role would suit a candidate looking to develop a profile in coaching and seeking an eventual FT position.

Primary Coaching responsibilities include:

  • Support local schools with professional coaching
  • Support schools with sports development and implementation of new programmes
  • Support local football clubs with training models
  • Help support coaching activity sessions in and out of school for children aged 5 years
  • Working with a professional team of coaches across multiple environments
  • Manage personal CPD and development plan

Development responsibilities include:

  • Develop & oversee a development process in relation to Non-Term Time Events / Camps
  • Consulting with venues and agreeing mid / long term plans
  • Assist with the planning of marketing activity in relation to Non Term Time Events / Camps
  • Consult and provide direction to Head Coaches assigned to venues, delegating tasks, monitoring attendance figures and overseeing advertising
  • Ability to manage participation & attendance records
  • Ability to plan ahead
  • Ability to communicate professionally with parents, venues and all associated staff
  • Understand the signing in, safeguarding processes, incident reporting etc
  • Ability to create venue check lists, needs analysis etc

Preferred Background/Qualifications/Qualities:

  • Minimum NGB or FA Level 2 qualification / Safeguarding / Valid DBS
  • Experience with coaching children from 5 – 11 yrs
  • Energetic, confident & motivated
  • Comfortable working remotely and within a team
  • Good interpersonal skills and a professional & co-operative manner
  • Flexibility to quickly and easily respond to changing priorities
  • Must possess a valid driving licence and have own transport
