LiveWire is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the operational team at Birchwood Leisure and Tennis Complex as a Duty Manager.
At LiveWire, Duty Managers are referred to as a Lead LiveWire Advisors and manage the day to day operation of a leisure facility ensuring that staff resources are used effectively and efficiently, and customer needs are met.
The successful candidate will also support the Operational Management team to develop and promote an integrated Health and Wellbeing offer across the East of Warrington.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate supervisory experience preferably gained in the leisure industry. Applicants will be expected to have an up to date working knowledge of health & safety and have a proven track record of managing risk.
The ability to effectively manage and motivate a team is required in this role as is the ability to plan and prioritise workloads. Individuals must be able to drive and monitor the sale of memberships and other re-saleable items.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain partnerships are essential especially with regard to LiveWire’s integration agenda. The facility offers a full tennis programme, individuals will be required to work closely with the Head of Coaching and Development to promote and cross sell the programme to both members and non-members; supporting the delivery of larger tennis based events.
A flexible approach to working hours is essential including shift work at evenings and weekends
