The Saracens Sport Foundation is a registered charity which uses sport to inspire communities and change lives. It achieves this through the delivery of high quality programmes through our four strands of delivery.  These programmes promote the benefits of sport, physical activity and healthy lifestyles.

The four strands are: Inclusion, Health and Wellbeing, Education & Employability and Participation. Each strand requires the post holder to be an excellent role model, to possess awareness of, and deploy at all times, equality, diversity and inclusion in every activity they do.

The HITZ Programme is a national programme delivered at all Premiership clubs and led by Premiership Rugby. The programme aims to use sport as a tool to inspire young people and support them in developing the skills to improve their own life opportunities. HITZ aims to support those young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEETs) and ultimately aims to support them back to education, employment or training.

The SSF maintains success due to the values and ethics which each employee holds.  These values are subconsciously used in all areas of the job, with internal members of the company and any stakeholder / participant. This is a challenging yet hugely rewarding position which underpins our beliefs, drive, values and ethics and ensures that we make a difference through the participation of sport.

To oversee any appropriate budgets ensuring spend is within budget and raising any overspend issues with the Senior Sport Development Manager, funding agencies and related partners (e.g. Premiership Rugby) as required.

The successful candidate should hold a Level 2 Coaching Qualification and or Level 2 Coaching Award. Additionally they should have a background in youth work and experience of working with challenging young people.

Candidates  should have a valid drivers licence and access to a car as they will be required to travel to multiple sites.
