One year, fixed term – £18,500 actual earnings

Claremont Fan Court School employs individuals with exceptional sporting skills. This is a first rate opportunity to gain one year’s experience in an educational setting by contributing to our sports and co-curricular programme from September 2020.

The successful candidate will assist PE and coaching staff across the curriculum. We seek a netball specialist with coaching and/or playing experience at a high level. Our other main sports are lacrosse, rugby, football, cricket and gymnastics. Those who excel in one sport may be considered but would be expected to train to umpire and/or coach in another of our main sports.

You will be flexible, positive in your approach to all games, and able to work as part of a close knit team. Conscientious and with a can-do approach, your enthusiasm for sport will set a good example to our pupils. You will be willing to participate fully in a busy and successful school.

Working Monday to Friday and every Saturday morning (away fixtures occasionally merge into the afternoon) in term time of 34 weeks you will coach one or more teams during the week and assist with Saturday morning sports and/or competitions. You will also give support with some sports administration and whole school staff duties and activities during the week.

“The quality of the pupils academic and other achievements is excellent”  (ISI January 2017)

In return you can expect all the benefits of a thriving independent school. Claremont Fan Court offers a competitive and progressive salary, pension, laptop, professional development, cycle scheme, lunches in term time, free parking and a means tested rent subsidy. Single shared accommodation on site may be available.

Further details of the role and how to apply can be found under the ‘work with us’ tab at www.claremontfancourt.co.uk

Closing date:  Monday 10  August 2020

Interview date: 17/18 August 2020
