Girls Football Development Officer
The Independent Schools Football Association (ISFA) is looking to appoint a Girls Football Development Officer to support the continued growth of girls’ football within independent schools.
ISFA is the organising body for football played by Independent Schools and has two full-time and one part-time employee and relies on a large number of volunteers to support its programme. ISFA runs National Competitions at U18, U15, U13 and U11 for boys and girls. In addition, ISFA also runs and supports an extensive number of regional competitions and runs representative football, coaching events, and various football development programmes.
The Girls Football Development Officer will be responsible for ISFA’s girls’ football programme, including all National Cups, Regional tournaments & festivals and supporting ISFA’s Regional Girls Leagues. The person in the role will also be responsible for leading in all areas of girls’ football, introducing new activities to grow girls’ football within the sector further, and supporting ISFA’s Head of Football Operations & ISFA’s Competitions & Administration Officer.
The successful candidate will work from home and travel nationally for competitions, events, and meetings as part of the role delivery. The majority of events are currently occurring in the Southeast and Midlands regions. The successful candidate will be expected to live in a location that does not necessitate excessive, unnecessary travel.
