FACILITY MANAGER (2 Posts)

LSBU Active are looking for two Facility Managers to join our team during this exciting time supporting the opening and running of our brand-new Sport and Fitness facilities at our Southwark Campus, offering refreshed services for Students, Staff and Community Members.

LSBU Active aims to inspire the development of our students and community through sport and physical activity. You will support continuous improvement of service delivery, maintain health and safety compliance and work closely with the Fitness Manager to deliver a high-quality customer service, ensuing the facility is fit for purpose at all times.

You will act as ‘Manager on Duty’ with responsibility for opening and closing the facility, supervising staff and operations, on a scheduled rota across the opening times of the service.

The skills and experience you will need to be successful

You must be committed to delivering first class customer service, with relevant experience in facility management. You will be fully conversant with current health and safety legislation in a sport setting and have appropriate first aid qualifications.

Details about the role

35 hour permanent contract, required to work a shift pattern that covers the operational hours of the service. You will need to be a team player able to demonstrate an enthusiastic and flexible attitude to work hours.

You will be required to complete a Criminal Records Disclosure form in line with Section 115 of the Police Act 1997.
