Do you have a recognised sports/recreation/fitness or management qualification and are looking for a management role with lots of variety? Teddington Sports Centre is served by good transport links and offers a newly built centre comprising a multi-purpose sports hall, all-weather sports pitches, tennis, netball, squash and beach volleyball courts and 2 dance studios. The Centre has also achieved the Customer Services Excellence and Quest quality standards.
As a Duty Manager, you will ensure the efficient day to day operation of the centre and supervise sporting and leisure activities. You will be involved in all aspects of the running of the sports centre including the development of a full range of adult and junior activities and supervising coaches / instructors as shift leader. You will also be involved in front of house reception work, organising and co-ordinating sports activity programmes, together with Health & Safety duties, so every day will bring a new challenges for you to enjoy.
About you: You will have experience of working in a leisure or sporting environment and hold a recognised sports, recreation, fitness or management qualification.
Working hours: You will work a 5 day shift rota which will include weekdays and weekends covering daytime and evenings.
This appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, medical and DBS clearance.
