Be part of an exciting new challenge working within Queens Park Rangers Community Trust by becoming a QPR Community Sport Apprentice
As an Apprentice, you will assist the Community Trust in the delivery and co-ordination of the Education, College, Youth and Communities & Football Development provision.
Your role will be split between the departments within the Community Trust, including Schools, Football Development, Youth and Communities, College Academies & office-based administration.
You will be based with each department for an equal amount of time, supporting a Community Trust member of staff with the planning & delivery of each programme. In your second year, you may get the opportunity to specialise in a department.
You will also complete a Level 2 Community Activator Course as part of your Apprenticeship.
- An interest in coaching children/young people.
- You will need to be sensitive to the needs of children within a school environment, especially those with learning or physical disabilities.
- You will need to act as a positive role model for the children and build good relationships with those who attend your sessions.
- Have a genuine interest in creating a fun learning environment for children & be able to assist them in developing fundamental movements & skills.
The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service Check and must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK.
