Communications Officer

Reports to: Business Manager – Operational day to day.

Summary: Work across all teams and projects as required

Develop and implement a strategy to increase Ealing Trailfinders portfolio profiles, ticket sales, events and database.In charge of press liaison, briefings and club releases.

Responsible for creating engaging, interactive and well written content around Ealing Trailfinders portfolio, objectives to grow and engage all key audiences, including but not limited to campaigns, events and fixtures.

Manage the operational set-up on the Professional Squad match days, press, photographers, streaming, social media & the big screen

Create and implement a cross-platform social media strategy, to include LinkedIn.

Using Social Media channels engage specifically with Season Ticket holders on a regular basis. Updates, news and promotions.

Create the content for the Ealing Trailfinders and alumni newsletters, plus the quarterly digital magazine.

Working with the players and staff to create and implement content distribution through the social media channels.

Prioritise workloads and manage time efficiently, meeting all required deadlines and expectations.

Job roles and details maybe changed in line with the needs of the club in consultation with the postholder.

Skills/Knowledge

• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Creative thinker with a proven ability to produce engaging content.
• A good understanding and a keen interest in rugby
• Excellent working knowledge of all communication platforms.
• Educated to degree level in a relevant industry
• Confident using website platforms

Contract: Full time, fixed term

Competitive salary dependent upon skills and experience
