We are seeking a knowledgeable Coach Development Officer to drive the delivery of coach development projects as part of our FA Women’s High-Performance Football Centre (FA WHPFC).

In partnership with The FA, St Mary’s University is one of 9 FA WHPFCs and provides a range of coach development projects for coaches working from grassroots to the elite level of the women’s and girls’ game, for which the Coach Development Officer is responsible for delivering. The role will work strategically with key internal and external partners to identify the coaching landscape and develop a plan to support coaches across the performance pathway. The role will also coordinate the deliver of the WHPFC Goalkeeper Centre.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a UEFA B coaching licence and will be able to clearly evidence the impact they have had in developing coaches and coaching programmes. They will have an excellent understanding of the female talent pathway and will be a strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills, able to drive and develop programmes with their proactive approach.
