What will you be doing?

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for someone to join our Academy as a Casual Development Centre Coach. You’ll be developing young players within the club’s pre-academy development centre structure and prepare them for elite academy level football in the foundation phase.

You will be required to coach age groups between the ages of 6 and 8, including individual, small group and full group sessions, implementing a Player Development programme which maximises the opportunities for young players to reach their full potential across all age groups.

You’ll be based at our development centre in Swindome, Swindon, SN3 4BZ, with working hours of 4:15pm – 6:15pm. Mondays, September – May (excluding Half Terms).

If you like creating fun coaching sessions for foundation age players, have an optimistic and approachable personality, and is comfortable communicating to all stakeholders, then you’re the person we’re looking for. You have a passion for coaching football and bringing positive energy in every session.

Essential Experience:

  • Experience working with U7 – U11

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum FA Level 2.
  • FA Youth Award (or working towards).
  • Age appropriate F.A. Certification.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Good level of IT skill.
