About Us:

We are a boutique PR agency, which is part of an international group. We currently have a range of technology clients, specifically in sport and need an experienced account handler to work on these.

The Role:

The role will span the following activities

Account Handling

  • Understand accounts targets and deadlines, across several accounts, and ensure these are met
  • Understand client project activity and ensure it is delivered on time and within budget
  • Ensure all aspects of good account management are in place and adhered to, including understanding and drafting reports, and delivering them to clients or management when needed
  • Serve as day to day contact for clients, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of their business and needs
  • Troubleshoot clients’ challenges as they arise and liaise with management over ongoing strategic guidance
  • Anticipate and address client needs and seek other management input when appropriate

Media Outreach and Communication Skills

  • Demonstrate indepth understanding of the UK technology and business media landscape
  • Demonstrate robust understanding of digital tools and platforms
  • Understand PR industry tools
  • Write and edit collateral, including press releases, by-lined opinion / thought-leadership features, marketing collateral, story or partnership introductions and reports
  • Proactively and successfully pitch media, reviewers and influencers
  • Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills to articulate ideas to clients and colleagues
  • Build media and third-party relationships to increase client visibility in target markets

    • Office Software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
    • Cloud (Sharepoint or similar)
    • Databases
    • Media monitoring tools
