Children’s Sports Coach

Star Hotshots are recruiting for a Children’s Sports Coach to run sports sessions on Saturdays and Sundays in Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

The role includes the delivery of sports sessions to children of all abilities and we are looking for someone who can deliver fun and energetic activities for children aged 4 – 11 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a range of fun sessions to primary school age children
  • Ensure Star Hotshots provide a safe and secure environment for children at all times.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with parents and children.
  • Develop and maintain accurate planning, ensuring all administration work is completed.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Sports Coaching or Physical Education or equivalent (desirable)
  • Ability to bring ideas and creativeness to the company (essential)
  • Be reliable and enthusiastic (essential)
  • Be able to relate to and engage with children between the ages of 4 – 11 (essential)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills (essential)

Pediatric First Aid, Child Protection/Safeguarding and DBS qualifications/certificates must be in place before any delivery can take place and the company can provide these if not already in place.

You must be able to drive and have access to a car.
