Employer Wild Training
Interested in a career as a personal trainer?
Explain what Wild Training is, and what your role as a personal trainer involves?
Running Wild Training is a pretty diverse role. Ensuring all the franchise trainers have the best support possible is key for me, as that will allow them to create success and get value from working with the Wild Training brand. Developing new training systems. Evolving old ones. Bringing new equipment in to our training. Organising marketing campaigns, both locally for the trainers and nationally. Enhancing the brand’s network by setting up corporate partnerships. Changing the fitness industry one day at a time.
With personal training jobs sessions, group outdoor exercise classes (Wild In the park) mean early morning starts. Completing your own fitness training sessions. Marketing your business with the proven Wild Training marketing strategies. Wild Jump trampoline classes, BTB Exercise session, Wild Training studio classes. Organising Summer or Winter retreats with clients. These are trips where our trainers get paid to go snowboarding, skiing, surfing in beautiful places around the world. Setting up charity events to support Hope For Children our charity partner. The job can be non-stop action and it’s a lot of fun because every day is different. Personal trainer jobs are what you make it.
You are your own boss, so what are the main advantages of that?
You get all the rewards and freedom for working hard, but with Wild Training you get more support than you would ever get in full-time employment. The team culture is incredible and you have a huge team of awesome, successful trainers to back you up and help with everything. It’s the best of both worlds.
“These are trips where our personal trainers get paid to go snowboarding, skiing, surfing in beautiful places around the world.”
What training to be a personal trainer is required?
You get the best development training in the industry with Wild Training. Over 80 hours of training every year. Quarterly training days at Lilleshall national sports centre. Four-hour workshops every month with the master training team. Training modules every month which include a 90-minute video, guided learning document, training articles and written assessments. This training never stops, because we never want to stop getting better. If you are the best trainer in your area, building a successful business will be a lot easier.
You can start a Wild Training franchise, then start Run Wild In The park classes and personal training sessions. You can easily earn over £4,000 per month inside your first six months. If you complete your first year successfully, you can start looking for a Wild Training studio. Wild Training provide you with the £40,000 needed to set it up. Year one, you can make £45,000. Then add your personal training income on to that and you will be getting very close to a six-figure income. After one year of running a Wild Training studio you will be able to hit six figures and have a great quality of life too as many of the studio and Wild In the park classes will be run by your studio trainer team.
We have a system for training your team and delivering programming, so again your workload is minimised. If you become a BTB Exercise course facilitator to qualify trainers as BTB Exercise instructors. Become a Wild Jump course facilitator to qualify trainers as Wild Jump instructors. Become a Wild Training Master Trainer, where you train and support other Wild Trainers with the systems and training that have made you successful. It’s an epic career, and it’s all happening right now.
“The Wild Training system has worked for every franchise that has followed it. The business plan, the marketing strategies, the development training… it all creates a process that doesn’t fail… but it only works if you do it.”
Training to be a personal trainer what qualifications and skills do people need?
We get pretty muddy in the wet… but we love the mud (and have great deals with the best outdoor clothing companies in the world to get kitted up properly and look pro). The hours are long, some days 5:30am start and 8:30pm finish. There are gaps, but that’s a long day. Anything worth doing isn’t normally easy. Any job in the fitness industry is hard. With Wild Training, your hard work gets you some serious rewards, and even though it’s hard work, you won’t find a Wild Trainer that doesn’t love their job!
The Wild Training system has worked for every franchise that has followed it. The business plan, the marketing strategies, the development training… it all creates a process that doesn’t fail… but it only works if you do it. Yes we support you, but we don’t help people that don’t want to be helped. You won’t be carried. We want people that are going to push, every day, to do the best they can do. If people come in to the Wild Training team and don’t work hard, they stick out like a sore thumb as we don’t slow down. If your business doesn’t work, it’s on you, because when people listen to our advice, and use the resources we give them properly, it works every time.
What else can people do before attempting a Wild Training franchise?
Experience being self-employed in any industry will help, and anything that helps you develop basic professional communication and admin skills will be good. Fitness training. All forms of it. Weights, cardio, outdoor training, functional training. The more experience you have, the more people you can help.
